About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Operations Project Manager to join our dynamic Finance team. This role will focus on adoption of project management methodologies as well as managing and executing projects related to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Treasury functions. The successful candidate will work closely with global business stakeholders, Finance experts, and Technology SMEs to efficiently implement financial systems and processes, including ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Adopt project management tools and methodologies to handle changes and critical business deliverables impacting Operational Finance area (launch of new Delivery Centre, compliance with regular banking requirements such as KYC, onboarding of new service lines onto invoicing process, opening of new bank accounts, bank providers change etc)
• Lead and manage financial operations projects with a focus on AP, AR, and Treasury, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
• Oversee the implementation and optimization of ERP systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing financial processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to identify project requirements and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain detailed process maps, business requirement documentations, project plans, schedules, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues or risks promptly.
• Analyze and improve financial workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in AP, AR, and Treasury functions.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations throughout project execution.
• Provide expert guidance and support to internal clients on financial system functionalities and best practices.
• Prepare and present project reports, including financial analysis and performance metrics, to senior management.
• Foster a collaborative project environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of proven experience as a Financial Operations Project Manager in leading SSC, with a strong focus on AP, AR, and Treasury projects.
• In-depth knowledge of financial systems, ERP implementation, and project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations related to finance and accounting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent).
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional certification such as PMP, CPA, or CFA is a plus.
