Human by nature. Business Reporting Trainee - Your future position? As a Business Reporting Trainee in Budapest, you will provide controlling and reporting services within the Reporting Center to the Finance and Controlling organization globally. Ensure service execution is in accordance to agreed service levels and within laws and regulations. You will report to the Reporting Center Manager.
Your main responsibilities:
Controlling and Reporting

• Prepare systems (e.g. open reporting occasion), load data, check data quality and accuracy
• Ensure master data (e.g. customer, products, segments) is maintained and updated
• Populate reports and analyses within the agreed Service level agreement, perform data adjustments within the reporting application, ensure data quality and completeness before sending to the respective Finance organization
• Create dashboards with some amount of independence
• Provide business support on the agreed level
• In case of major data deviations, escalate to management and suggest a solution (root-cause or manual data adjustment)
• Perform ad-hoc reporting upon request

Report implementation and change

• Document and maintain report requirements in specific documents, e.g. detail designs (layout and technical information), report inventory, reporting calendar, and Measurement dictionary
• Technical design reports (layout, link to data sources, Measurement calculation) and queries
• Check data availability and change requirements to data model
• Perform testing and report issues
• Provide user support for reporting applications and guide issue resolution

Continuous improvement and innovation

• Participate in improvement projects (system, process, content, new technology or governance)
• Support harmonisation and agreement within the Reporting Center
• Participate in IT project to enhance reporting center capability
• Prepare and update work instructions and process manuals

You have:

• University degree (or ongoing) in fields related to business or information technology
• good English in writing and communication,
• 0-1 years of work experience controlling and with reporting tools
• Preferably some experience with reporting applications (BO WebI, BO Analysis, BeX query designer) and dashboarding tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI), basic knowledge of SAP BW Hana
