Job Description:

As an Event Office Support specialist with a focus on Audio and Video Technical Support, you will play a critical role in the success of our events by ensuring technical aspects are executed flawlessly. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment, working closely with the event organizers and other team members to provide a seamless experience attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and maintain audio and video equipment for events, including microphones, speakers, LED screens, and lighting.
  • Conduct pre-event testing and troubleshooting to ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
  • Collaborate with event owners to understand technical requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Manage live audio and video feeds during events, ensuring high-quality sound and visual output.
  • Address and resolve any technical issues that arise during events promptly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for additional technical support or equipment as needed.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest audio and video technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Audio/Visual Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in audio and video technical support for events.
  • Proficiency with a variety of audio and video equipment, including mixers, amplifiers, microphones, projectors, and video cameras.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, sometimes including evenings, weekends (2-3 times/year)
