The role:

We are looking for an expert in project management.

Projects at greehill are commercial activities aiming at data capture using LiDAR and high resolution image technologies in various regions of the world. The role requires profound domain expertise in mobile LiDAR scanning.

As expert in our central team in Budapest you shape and support the field work of regional project managers by setting the technology standards, defining procedures, providing tools, training and supporting them. You will assure high professional standards of greehill project management. PM responsibilities cover pre sales analysis, project planning, supervising data capture execution, quality assurance, coordination with central processing units as well as customer support.

PM responsibilities

• Managing the end-to-end implementation of projects where we scan entire cities in different regions of the world with mobile LIDAR and high resolution cameras.
• Supporting business developers in creating technically sound proposals and work closely with our GIS operators and our AI-driven data factory.
• Management of daily activities of our scanning teams on the ground.
• Technical Expertise Assessment - Evaluate technical requirements for projects involving 3D mapping, GIS, remote sensing technologies, and natural sciences.
• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resource requirements, and milestones, ensuring alignment with client needs and project scope.
• Resource Allocation & Team Coordination: Effectively allocate resources to ensure timely completion of project tasks especially in regard to operational scanning, considering the technical expertise required for each aspect. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including navigators, drivers, technicians, scientists, engineers, and GIS specialists, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Communications with our B2G and B2B customers, including the handover of the final product (information) on greehill’s web-based platform.

Your profile:

• You have a proven track record of successfully managing GIS related projects.
• You have proven experience in project management, particularly in technical projects involving 3D mapping, GIS, and remote sensing technologies.
• You have the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• You are familiar with LIDAR scanning technologies.
• You have a basic understanding of GIS or 3D modelling software.
• You are fluent in English.
• You have excellent communication skills with internal and external clients (B2B or B2G).
• You have a “can do” mentality and you are a “self-starter”.
