Accounts Payable Analyst

The Center of Excellence Accounts Payable Team is responsible for on-time payment delivery to all 3rd party suppliers in line with contractual terms and conditions. Our team goals are to streamline financial processes and implement new strategic solutions and systems to drive enhanced performance across all entities. The objective of the Accounts Payable Analyst is that vendor invoices are processed accurately and paid by due date and to support ongoing standardizations in the AP processes. (S)He ensures that the company policies and process documents are followed, and controls are maintained. Completes his/her daily activities with a service provider mindset, fully in line with internal and external customer expectations.
Specific Responsibilities

• 
  Assist in projects for the continuous improvement and standardization of processes.
• Support improvement of key performance indicators.
• Validate and post supplier invoices.
• Resolve invoice / PO discrepancies and coordinate the approval of invoices according to policy.
• Process and clear weekly outgoing payments in alignment with local finance.
• Complete period-end activities – including reconciliation of G/L accounts.
• Handle queries from external and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure controls prescribed in the process documentations are thoroughly followed.
• Correct reported errors in the ERP system.
• Maintain the Desktop Procedures through regular reviews and updates.
• Complete tasks assigned to him/her by the Team Leader/Line Manager.

• Ability to speak and write English and another European language.
• Proficient MS Office user – mainly in Excel and Word.
• Knowledge in SAP or ERP systems is an advantage.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• 
  Bachelor’s degree required, college courses in accounting preferred.
• 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience – preferably using SAP.
