About this opportunity

Have you ever heard of mobile positioning? We are developing the Ericsson Network Location that is being used by more than 120 mobile operators across the globe. We not only have more than 40% market share, but our market is about to explode, driven by the positioning needs of IoT, 5G and self-driving cars.
From early studies and proofs-of-concept to deployment, we are responsible for the complete life-cycle of the product. Indoor and outdoor positioning 5G, IoT, Cloud development, and modern Software delivery pipelines are all technologies we are using in our daily development practices.

What you will do

• Provides technical leadership within their team
• Active participation in the study creation
• Represents the team in technical discussions
• Active participation and contribution in the Lead Developer forum
• Designs the implementation of the products functional and non-functional requirements or development environment working in an Agile team
• Takes part in the full development cycle: from design, through implementation and verification to production troubleshooting
• Be responsible for the quality of the technical solution
• Mentors the team members

You will bring

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree
• Positioning services, methods and algorithms
• Experience in C++ and scripting
• Solid knowledge of Linux
• Familiarity with version control systems (GIT)
• Excellent communication skills
• Mentoring skills
• English proficiency, both written and spoken

Its a huge plus if you have experience with
Cloud technologies (docker, Kubernetes) or cloud service development and deployment
