About this opportunity:

Working as an IT support engineer you will operate a business-critical IT infrastructure and support its users. The product is mainly based on Windows components hosted in MS Azure and provides remote connectivity to our customer’s networks. Apart from the main technology, there is a possibility to work with a wide range of components and build/use broad IT knowledge. You will work, collaborate, and communicate in an international environment, both with colleagues internally as well as with customers and suppliers to Ericsson. The role often requires you to take on driving the restoration of the service therefore it is important that you can work independently and in an agile manner.

What you will do:

• 
  Daily operation of a global IT infrastructure
• Provide user support to Ericsson engineers: handling support tickets
• Be part of 24/7 on-call emergency support
• Analyzing system faults defining and executing corrective actions
• Automate operations/support-related activities
• Submitting trouble reports and assisting developers in troubleshooting
• Participation in maintenance activities like upgrades, configuration changes

The skills you bring:

• 
  BSc degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field or relevant experience in these areas
• Excellent troubleshooting skills

• Good command of written and spoken English
• Willingness to learning new technologies
• Microsoft Desktop and Server administration experience
• Windows RDS or WVD administration experience
• Experience in working with MS Azure
• PowerShell scripting knowledge
